Ian Murph

Murphy has really opened my mind towards architecture. Before I came across his work I had this idea in my head that architecture art was all drawn in great detail, straight lines and in a formal manner. His work has shown me that you can create sensational pictures of buildings with a loose and free hand, like the way I love to work, with all the necessary detail keeping it a straight forward image of a building, so no seconded guessing. He has inspired me in my college work and once again in my current project at university, influencing me to expand my interest of buildings from just photography into my printmaking.

I would highly encourage you all to take a look at his work even if you don't fancy architecture as much as I do.
